<Japan Composite Technology / Company News> ━━━━━━━━━━━
Today we would like to introduce high technology molding and machining company in Japan.

There are many enterprises which are able to molding and machining composites (including CFRP, GFRP, etc.), but their technologies have very big variation. Many of them have solid engineering, but it’s not systematic.
Very experienced/skilled persons proceed their work by “their feelings”.

This kind of approach is one of the advanced engineering cultures in Japan, and it would be proper for prototype engineering or very small quantity products.
But if we need to think about “Mass Production”, the status above would not function.

Skill, know-how by very experienced persons should be very important, and they would be more well-functioned when they are combined with “Quantitative evaluation/recording tooling”; like CMM, NDI (Non destructive inspection/Ultrasonic inspection etc.), process parameter collection systems (via data logger, IoT etc.) and quality control systems. There are not so many companies which has both(Skill/Systems).

I have worked with them before and their skill and quality systems were very attractive. They have skilled persons of course, but they are always aggressive to mold composites and evaluate them.

There is no detail information regarding machining and inspection, but they have capabilities.

This company shall be one of the candidates when you would like to make high quality composite flat panels and/or composite parts.

 

Composite molding is always focused topic all over the world.
At the same time, very important point for composite molding is;

“Stable molding quality in the future”

If you are thinking only prototype, that doesn’t matter.
But composite material has anisotropic properties and material variation.

When you face on the issue, stable molding technology and recording by quality systems should be the key,
because accumulated process data and stable process should give us the solution to understand the root cause.

It is necessary to choose proper molding supplier when you are thinking about mass production.

May is the season to have athletic festival at elementary school in Japan.
Historically, October is the season for the festival, but now some of schools have it at this time.

Athletic festival in Japan is very attractive.
Especially relay runs and group warm-ups are always exciting, not only for students also for parents.

But father should take photos and videos.
They don’t have enough time to watch them via their actual eyes.

Anyway, I am very glad to watch the festival which our kids will join.
